Hi, I'm Ryan Nemec — a student at Rider University with a passion for writing, visual storytelling, and digital media.

I have experience in writing, photography, and photo/video editing, and I enjoy creating content that connects with people. I'm especially interested in media that captures real moments — whether that's through creative projects, campus events, or sports.

I'm always eager to learn new skills, take on challenges, and grow both creatively and professionally. Right now, I’m looking for an internship where I can contribute to meaningful work while continuing to expand what I know.

My Story

Hi, I’m Ryan Nemec — a passionate student with a love for writing and video editing. A quote that I try to live by everyday is "Don't let good be the enemy of great." I try to keep this quote playing in my head everyday to remind myself that there is always room for improvement in every aspect of my life.

I grew up in Ewing, NJ, and attended Notre Dame High School, where I played varsity hockey all four years and proudly served as team captain my senior year. After enrolling in college at East Carolina University, I transferred to Rider University to continue building both my education and myself.

Whether I’m writing something meaningful or editing video to bring a vision to life, I love shaping content that connects with people. Video editing, especially, gives me the chance to blend creativity with technical skill — telling stories through pacing, sound, and visuals.

I’m also over a year and a half sober — a journey that’s taught me discipline, perspective, and the importance of constant self-improvement. That mindset fuels everything I do, from creative work to supporting the people around me.
